Briana's Story

Hi! My name is Briana, I am 6 years old and I live in California. I like to spend time with my family and my favorite stuffed animal is my kitty. I also like doing lots of things with my friends. I am in first grade, my Mommy teaches me at home. I have a sister named Tamra and she is the same age as me. I have a pet hermit crab named Cutie. My Mommy and Daddy first found out I had MHE when I was about 1 ½ years old. My sister, Daddy, Grandma, and Great-Grandpa also have MHE. So far I feel o.k. about having MHE, I haven’t had to have any surgeries yet. My sister, Tamra, is having her first surgery soon and I feel sad that she has to have it. I think that if I ever have to have surgery the best part about it will be getting presents afterwards!
