| Hi! My name is Brittni. I am eleven years old and in sixth grade. I have a two-year-old brother named Ryan. In June 2000 I was diagnosed with a bone condition called Multiple Hereditary Exostoses (MHE). The doctor says that I have thirty to forty bone tumors throughout my body. Luckily, I haven't had to have any surgeries yet, but I am borderline. My left leg is bowed and now the right is starting to bow as well. Usually my legs don't bother me but occasionally they do ache. Once in a blue moon, the bones in my left leg lock and it hurts to move it. Nobody has made fun of me and not many people know that I have MHE. For the past five years I have been cheerleading for football and I absolutely love it. My favorite thing to do on the team is to stunt. When we stunt, I am usually the back-spotter, but sometimes I get to be the flyer. My team also does dancing. I am very good at the jumping and cheers as well. Another one of my pastimes is playing the clarinet. I play in the school band and was good enough to be selected to go to the state competitions called NYSSMA. I also love to read. You can usually find me reading about horses. I also enjoy reading adventures. Most of the time I go online and talk to my friends while listening to CD's. Now you know all about me and I would love to get to know you, so email me at Vccheer92@cs.com |
