At MHE and Me, children with Multiple Hereditary Exostoses are encouraged to share their stories, thoughts, poems, and other forms of expression on how their lives are affected by this disorder. 
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13 MUST HAVE VERIFIABLE PARENTAL CONSENT FOR THEIR PAGE TO BE PUBLISHED ON OUR SITE!
*The information and content contained in these stories is obtained directly from the child and/or his or her family   Such information usually includes the child's experience with MHE, hobbies, description of family, etc.
*We do not publish the last names, telephone numbers  or addresses of the children. If requested, we will provide the child's email address on his or her page, so that other children with MHE can correspond with the child. 
*Before we publish any page, we have it reviewed by the child and his or her parents for approval. Only upon their emailed approval do we publish it to the site. 
*An email address can be removed from the child's page at any time, upon the parent's request, sent by email to mheandme@yahoo.com
*A parent may have any information changed or deleted on a child's web page upon request by email to mheandme@yahoo.com

VERIFIABLE CONSENT:
Parents of children under the age of 13 who wish to have a personal web page on the MHE and Me web site are asked to either print, fill out and mail the Parent Consent Form or send a letter containing the same information to:  Susan Wynn, 14 Stony Brook Drive, Pine Island, NY 10969

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES:
*If a child under age 13 requests a penpal, we will email that child's parents for permission to proceed.  If permission is obtained, we will send an email request to the parents of children in that age group, asking if their child would like a penpal. We will at that time give a general description without releasing the name or email address of the child seeking the penpal. If the other child and his or her parent(s) agree, we will release both parties' names and email addresses to each other. 
*Aside from the above, there will be no disclosure of personal information to third parties.
